Siemens Logistics and Airport Solutions has won the Airport Operators Association (AOA) Award for Best Service Provider 2012 for the performance of the company’s Heathrow Terminal 4 (T4) project team. The award was presented to Siemens yesterday at the annual AOA conference and exhibition, and conference dinner and awards ceremony in London.

Steve Scrimshaw, Managing Director of Siemens Rail, today commented: “The Thameslink negotiations are ongoing and although we are disappointed that they have taken longer than anticipated, we are making good progress and we remain confident that we will achieve closure of this important deal.”

On Monday 15 October, Siemens and seven of the UK’s leading universities (Cambridge, Manchester, Newcastle, Lincoln, Sheffield, Loughborough and Oxford) gathered at the Crystal in London, to celebrate and formally recognise their longstanding collaborations to develop future generations of graduates and foster research & innovation.
