Siemens Industry Software (PLM) and Siemens Subsea business together with the Barrow Engineering Partnership (BEP) and BAE Systems have just announced the launch of a new scheme to help revitalise interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects and engineering as a career.

Siemens Energy Service Fossil in Newcastle has won a new multi-million order for the supply and installation of three intermediate pressure (IP) steam turbine modules with Drax Power Limited, owner of the UK’s largest power station. The Welsh Government has given its approval to the development of the Skerries Tidal Stream Array, which will be Wales’ first commercial tidal energy farm.
