Pall Mall Medical to provide holistic diagnostic service following triple system installation
Pall Mall Medical, a private diagnostic and surgical centre in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, has recently installed three new medical imaging systems from Siemens Healthcare. The MAGNETOM® Aera MR, SOMATOM® Emotion CT and Multix Select DR systems will allow the centre to provide a holistic diagnostic service provision to its patients. The centre, which provides full day care diagnostic facilities and 12 beds, will have the systems in use seven days a week. -

Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh to boost imaging capability
Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, part of NHS Lothian, has ordered a ceiling-mounted Artis zeeTM interventional imaging system and a MAGNETOM® Aera MR system from Siemens Healthcare to bolster its imaging services. The technology was procured as part of the NHS Lothian imaging equipment replacement programme, meeting the continued requirement to provide optimal diagnostic imaging to patients. -

Siemens invests in new vehicle solutions for customer field service operations
Siemens in Lincoln is investing in a new fleet of bespoke vehicles for gas turbine service operations as part of its service strategy focused on delivering ever better service for its customers. The first three vehicles designed for Siemens by QI Van Systems will be deployed from the end of this month in the Lincoln gas turbine service business for use by the field service team. Further investment and wider rollout is expected over the next twelve months across all Siemens gas turbine field service operations in the UK and internationally. -

Siemens completes major traffic signalling upgrade in Manchester

Aintree Hospital enhances image quality and expands Breast Clinic procedures with S2000
Aintree University Hospital has recently updated imaging capabilities in its Breast Clinic with the installation of an ACUSON S2000TM from Siemens Healthcare. The system, based in the Breast Clinic, was chosen to provide greater image quality. It is used both by the multi-disciplinary breast team and also the general ultrasound department thanks to its ergonomic design.
