Siemens completes major traffic signalling upgrade in Manchester
The biggest traffic signalling upgrade programme in the country was completed in Greater Manchester by Siemens this month with the replacement of a total of 52,000 traditional traffic signal bulbs with longer-lasting and energy saving LED lights across more than 1,800 sites - saving over one million pounds in the process. -

Aintree Hospital enhances image quality and expands Breast Clinic procedures with S2000
Aintree University Hospital has recently updated imaging capabilities in its Breast Clinic with the installation of an ACUSON S2000TM from Siemens Healthcare. The system, based in the Breast Clinic, was chosen to provide greater image quality. It is used both by the multi-disciplinary breast team and also the general ultrasound department thanks to its ergonomic design. -

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust installs six ACUSON S1000s in system overhaul
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has enhanced clinical confidence by installing six ACUSON S1000TM ultrasound systems from Siemens Healthcare in its hospitals. The installations are part of a planned system overhaul to re-equip the Ultrasound Department with systems capable of delivering excellent quality images and improved workflow. Three of the systems are being utilised at City Hospital, with the other three in use at the Queen’s Medical Centre, alongside an ACUSON P300TM compact portable ultrasound system which has also recently been installed. -

Final train in new fleet delivered to First TransPennine Express
