Siemens in Lincoln is investing in a new fleet of bespoke vehicles for gas turbine service operations as part of its service strategy focused on delivering ever better service for its customers. The first three vehicles designed for Siemens by QI Van Systems will be deployed from the end of this month in the Lincoln gas turbine service business for use by the field service team. Further investment and wider rollout is expected over the next twelve months across all Siemens gas turbine field service operations in the UK and internationally. -

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has enhanced clinical confidence by installing six ACUSON S1000TM ultrasound systems from Siemens Healthcare in its hospitals. The installations are part of a planned system overhaul to re-equip the Ultrasound Department with systems capable of delivering excellent quality images and improved workflow. Three of the systems are being utilised at City Hospital, with the other three in use at the Queen’s Medical Centre, alongside an ACUSON P300TM compact portable ultrasound system which has also recently been installed.
