Redbridge Council has partnered with Siemens and ubitricity to boost the borough’s electric vehicle (EV) network with over 300 new on-street charge points.

• Booth Welsh will supply Simatic PCS neo, which enables engineers and operators, in a web based environment, to work with a secure and intuitive user interface to operate process plants.

• Siemens will partner with electric vehicle (EV) charge point operators (CPOs), EV, Blink Charging and Evyve to deliver metering services.
• The new agreements will help the CPOs navigate the capacity constraints of energy suppliers and provide metering and commissioning services much quicker.
• The service represents a critical part of charging points infrastructure delivery, providing power to the charging units and recording electricity usage for accurate billing, reporting and recharging by the CPO.
