A new contract to design and refurbish traffic signal equipment and systems at nine signalised junctions in Coventry has been awarded to Siemens by the city council. Following the recent completion of the design stages by Siemens, work is now underway to supply and replace equipment including new poles, controllers and signal heads, and upgrade sites to MOVA and SCOOT control to ensure optimum Urban Traffic Control (UTC) operation.

• A new three sponsorship year deal (2017-2020) has been struck between Siemens and Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry.

• Includes Platform for Investigation - performance platform for STEM demonstrations. Holding events 22 days a year, aimed at 7-14 year-olds.

• Encouraging them and their parents that it's OK to follow a STEM career.
