Transform returns to Manchester with technologies shaping the future of industry, energy and the built environment

  • Siemens’ Transform event returns to Manchester, showcasing how industrial AI, digital twins, intelligent electrification, advanced automation and smart grid innovation are reshaping industry, energy and the built environment
  • Across two days, the event will explore the convergence of the real and digital worlds, highlighting technologies that boost resilience, efficiency and sustainability for organisations navigating rapid change

The future of digital and physical infrastructure will take centre stage this summer as Siemens brings its flagship Transform event back to Manchester, offering organisations a first‑hand look at the technologies redefining how the UK and Ireland designs, operates and maintains its most critical assets.

Returning to Manchester Central on 15–16 July, the free two‑day event will showcase the convergence of industrial AI, digital twins, simulation, intelligent electrification, advanced automation and smart grid innovation. Delegates will see how these technologies are helping organisations adapt at speed to challenges ranging from rising energy demand and operational complexity to cyber threats, skills shortages and climate pressures.

Across the exhibition, Siemens will demonstrate how industrial‑grade AI is accelerating production, improving resilience and enabling greener operations; how digital twins are reshaping product design and system engineering; and how next‑generation grid technologies and intelligent electrification are helping to modernise energy systems and support the transition to renewables in the UK and Ireland.

The event will also highlight advances in automation, robotics and adaptive control systems are unlocking new levels of productivity across manufacturing and infrastructure.

Brian Holliday, Chief Executive Officer at Siemens UK & Ireland, said: “Transform is first and foremost about connecting people, but also exploring what becomes possible when you exploit digital technology and deploy it in the real world. Whether it's intelligent grids, industrial AI or advanced automation, these technologies are giving organisations the tools to simplify operations, reduce emissions and build resilience in an increasingly complex world. Manchester is one of the UK’s most dynamic innovation hubs, making it the ideal place to explore the art of the possible today and tomorrow at Transform - I hope to see you there.”

Transform is a two-day technology showcase hosted in the UK every two years. The event, which brings thousands of delegates to Manchester, is designed to help organisations of all sizes to adapt at speed to meet the rising pressures from economic volatility, cyber threats, climate pressure, skills shortages and supply chain complexities.
