Visitors to this year’s Railtex (9-11 May, NEC Birmingham) can step into tomorrow’s railway, today, by visiting the Siemens stand – taking a hi-tech tour around the company’s rail offering.
In addition to gaining information about Siemens’ comprehensive rail portfolio – covering rolling stock, signalling, control and automation and rail electrification – those visiting stand N11 will be able to:
- Use 3D to configure their own metro train
- Build a simulated traincare facility using the latest technology
- Enter a daily competition by driving an augmented reality train
- Find out more about the Digital Railway (and attend a presentation by Siemens Digital Railway Director, Mark Ferrer, at 12.30pm on 9th May in the Seminar Theatre)

- See how rail electrification programmes and solutions fit with the smart grid
