Siemens Mobility has announced the appointment of Matthias Schlelein as Finance Director for its Rolling Stock division, further strengthening the company’s senior management team.

Matthias first joined Siemens in 1996 after studying business administration in Germany and in the USA. His extensive experience includes management roles across four of Siemens’ business divisions including the company’s rolling stock business unit in Germany. In addition to his outstanding finance skills Matthias has a well-rounded business background with particular expertise in sales, project execution and finance and previously held a senior commercial position with leading aerospace and defence company EADS n.v. He will be based at the company’s Westminster office heading up a team of finance professionals.
