Siemens shows traffic management expertise at CITE 2016

With increasing numbers of leading construction and civil engineering companies choosing to work with Siemens on major design schemes and new developments, the company is showcasing its traffic services and partnerships on stand number H21 at the Civil Infrastructure and Technology Exhibition (CITE) 2016, 12-14 April at ExCeL, London.

Poole, UK, 2016-Apr-11

Head of Sales, Steve Parsons said: ‘With the growing number of civil contracts now including infrastructure works and orders for traffic equipment and systems, this event enables us to reinforce our position as the leading supplier and service provider of traffic technology in the UK. We have the capabilities and expertise to deliver traffic control and management services to leading construction and civil engineering companies placing contracts for traffic control and management’.

Key partners such as Graham Construction in Northern Ireland have expressed their confidence in the company’s experience and professionalism, as well as our quality solutions and dependable delivery.

As part of a major highways project, Graham Construction selected Siemens to provide the traffic signalling scheme along the A2 Shore Road, the main arterial route from Carrickfergus to Belfast. Four signalised junctions, three signalised roundabouts and a number of pedestrian crossings to serve local schools were delivered by Siemens as part of this major road re-development contract placed by TransportNI, Department for Regional Development.

‘The ability and willingness of Graham Construction and Siemens to work collaboratively contributed greatly in the scheme progressing to site and the successful delivery of the project this year,’ said Basil Hassard for TransportNI.

From scheme design to delivery and commissioning, Civil Construction Companies can depend on Siemens for a one stop solution, including quality traffic signalling and management products, expertise and delivery.
