Siemens Rail Systems appoints new UK sales manager for metros, coaches and light rail

Graeme Clark has been appointed as UK sales manager for metros, coaches and light rail. He will be based at the company’s Westminster offices.

Graeme is a chartered mechanical engineer with over 30 years experience in the rail industry. He has held senior positions within several other prominent rolling stock manufacturers. Graeme brings with him extensive knowledge of the UK metro and light rail market.

Additionally, Graeme takes responsibility for the development of the planned Siemens Training Academy for Rail, which is scheduled to open in 2013, in partnership with the National Skills Academy for Railway Engineering.

Graeme said: “I’m very pleased to be on board at this exciting time for the UK rail industry and I’m looking forward to making a real impact for Siemens in the UK metro market. The development of training academy is also an exciting project and one that I have a close personal interest in.
