Natalie Duncalf, Helen Burgess and Adam West formed a team to produce a selection of calendars for sale using shots from the entries of the photography competition to raise funds for local charities the Welsh Air Ambulance Service and Cancer Research UK.

Ed Farrell, Managing Director of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Products Ltd said that “We needed a photograph for a prominent area within our building and came up with the idea for a staff competition. We live in an area which known for its natural beauty so the quality of the photographs were outstanding. In all we had over a 100 entries which not only generated a healthy competition between staff, but then grew into this opportunity to contribute to two charities whose work is invaluable in the local community”.

Around £1052.92 was raised from the sales of the calendars. Further negotiations between the Calendar Team and Siemens led to Siemens Llanberis donating over £900 themselves to enable Siemens staff to present a cheque of £1000 to local charities, Welsh Air Ambulance Service and Cancer Research UK.
