Siemens Holdings plc has completed the sale of Roke Manor Research Limited ("Roke") to Chemring Group plc, which was announced on 10 August 2010. Chemring Group plc is a UK based, world-leader in the manufacture of products for the defence, national security and maritime markets.
Siemens continues to be a leading force in R&D globally with 30,800 R&D employees, R&D investments of 3.9 billion euros in the last fiscal year and a patent portfolio comprising over 56,000 patents worldwide.
