Siemens appoints Head of UK Aerospace

​Siemens has focused on strengthening its offer to the UK aerospace market with the appointment of a new Head of UK Aerospace, Steve Jones.

In his role, Steve will drive the implementation of Siemens’ strategy for the UK Aerospace sector, assisted by a team of three executives. His responsibilities will include working with existing strategic customers on the specification of Siemens’ industrial technology solutions, as well as developing relationships with new corporate partner companies.

He is also tasked with representing Siemens within wider aerospace sector forums, including the Aerospace Growth Partnership where he already sits on the manufacturing working group committee.

Steve Jones has more than 25 years of experience in engineering, with more than 12 years at Siemens. He previously held the role of Key Account Manager for UK Aerospace at Siemens.
