New Project Director for Siemens wind turbine manufacturing plant in Hull

Finbarr Dowling has been appointed Project Director for the new wind turbine manufacturing facilities at Green Port Hull and Paull in the East Riding of Yorkshire, effective from 1st July 2014.

Finbarr Dowling has been appointed Project Director for the new wind turbine
manufacturing facilities at Green Port Hull and Paull in the East Riding of Yorkshire, effective from 1st July 2014.

Finbarr joined Siemens in 1989 and worked in the Metering Manufacturing business based in London. His career within Siemens includes working within some of its leading manufacturing and service facilities in the UK. Since 2009, Finbarr has been Managing Director of Siemens award winning industrial drives factory in Congleton.

Finbarr will now take on significant new responsibilities for the successful development and
implementation of the new wind turbine manufacturing and service facilities in Hull.

Finbarr will be joined by Ross Dean as Commercial Project Director for the Hull and Paull projects. Ross brings with him extensive offshore wind and financial
experience. Prior to this role Ross has held various finance and commercial project management roles within Siemens, including the last five years as Commercial Head of UK Offshore Wind Projects.
