United Kingdom, 2006-Feb-27
Siemens Business Services today secured a two-year extension to its current contract to manage the support of Lloyds TSB’s 4,200 ATM machines located across the UK.
Siemens Business Services has been providing support services and managed installation services for the Lloyds TSB network of ATMs since 1998. Siemens Business Services also provides a dedicated Incident Management Desk which provides first line support and contributes to the reduction in engineering calls to all of Lloyds TSB ATM machines throughout the country.
Siemens Business Services introduced, in 2002, an innovative Remote ATM service model. This unique service delivery model is designed specifically for the off premise ATM and eliminates the need for a joint visit with a security guard for ATMs and thus delivers improved availability at a reduced cost to the Bank.
Mathew Timms, ATM Director from Lloyds TSB, said: “Siemens Business Services has demonstrated throughout the years a high level of service quality and ensured improvements in ATM availability whist contributing to reduce our costs.”
Paul Parrish, Product Related Services Director for Siemens Business Services, said: “Siemens Business Services maintains 6,500 of the ATMs in the United Kingdom. This contract extension is a recognition of the quality of the work that Siemens Business Services carries and our ability to offer new solutions to help our clients meet their targets.”
