James Gearey appointed as Managing Director of Siemens Financial Services Limited in the UK

It was announced today that James Gearey is to be the new Managing Director of Siemens Financial Services Limited.

Formerly with GE, James Gearey joins Siemens on 1 April from UK insurance giant Aviva, where he held the position of Director of Partnerships at Norwich Union Insur-ance. At Siemens he is tasked with leading one of the UK’s premier providers of business finance to the next stage of its development in the UK market.

Commenting on his appointment, Gearey said: “I join an organisation with a tremendous reputation that prides itself on providing absolutely the very best financial solutions and service. The opportunities to continue apace the development and significance of the business within the UK are immense. The combination of Siemens’ financial expertise and industrial know-how resonates well in every market and this bodes well for securing further success.”
