BS11000 has been developed as a standard to enable companies to work together in a collaborative manner, enabling for enhanced project delivery. The BS11000 provides a number of project goals aligning behaviours and establishing trust amongst potential partners within projects.
From January to March 2013, the Siemens Rail Electrification business made a concerted effort to collate ways of working and to develop these systems, in alignment with both Siemens' core goals and the BS11000 protocols, in order to establish an auditable management process in collaborative working opportunities.
Siemens Rail Electrification chose accreditation partners ISOQAR to work closely together in progressing the implementation, audit and certification of the standard.
